Varun is a public policy professional with a sectoral focus on energy policy. He is part of the clean power, electric mobility, and emerging technologies team at Vasudha Foundation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Public Policy. He has been associated with research projects surrounding deep electrification pathways for industrial sectors, green hydrogen economy, and Just transition in India’s trucking sector. He also supports the team’s State-level initiatives concerning Renewable energy and Electric mobility policies. His research interests extend to exploring energy storage technologies, and rural clean energy access pathways.
