Tejaswini Eregowda
Tejaswini specialises in GHG inventories, non-energy decarbonisation, leading the non-energy components of climate-smart action plans for states like Odisha, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Gujarat.
Previously, as a Climate Change Fellow at EMPRI, Bangalore, she contributed to implementing Karnataka’s climate action plan and developing policies for mitigation and adaptation. She also works on short-lived climate pollutants (SLCP) inventory, mitigation, and policy analysis.
Tejaswini has also served as a Research Scientist for Karnataka’s NGT monitoring cell, coordinating compliance efforts on waste & wastewater management, water bodies and coastal rejuvenation. Tejaswini holds a PhD in biological waste-to-energy technologies from Tampere University (Finland) and IHE Delft (Netherlands) under the EU’s prestigious Marie Curie Joint Doctoral Program.
