Saundharaya Khanna
Saundharaya is an Assistant Manager with the Climate Finance team at Vasudha Foundation. Her work involves supporting discourses on adequate, affordable and accessible financing for energy and climate transitions.
Trained in economics, before joining the Foundation, Saundharaya worked on promoting local-green enterprises and access to climate finance at local and subnational levels in the capacity of her portfolio at Development Alternatives, India. She was particularly ‘invested’ in community driven models of sustainability, and unique business or financing mechanisms that could sustain these. Her work took her to multiple States in India, Nepal, and Indonesia, and led to collaborations with various national and international networks. Some of her think-pieces have been published on Think20/T20 and other platforms.
Strange to many, Saundharaya has an inert faith in documentation, and in “anything that is not recorded is eventually lost.” When not scribbling thoughts and ideas, she can be found reading books, solving sudoku, sipping on tea, or simply existing.
