On January 1, 2025, over 1,000 in-person booth camps were successfully organised across Uttar Pradesh, engaging with more than 1,00,000 individuals in-person. Launching this initiative on the first day of the year symbolised a fresh start, aligning with the promise of a brighter, sustainable future powered by solar energy. It set an inspiring tone for the year, motivating communities to embrace RE solutions right from the outset.
Vasudha Foundation conceptualized and implemented these camps in coordination with UPNEDA, showcasing an effective model of community engagement. The goal was to achieve 10,000+ registrations in a single day on the PM Surya Ghar portal. The process is now available for replication in other states.
