Karan Deep Sood is currently working as a Policy Officer in the Clean Energy vertical at Vasudha Foundation. My work profile revolves around monitoring policies that promote the adoption of clean energy sources at the National and State levels. This role involves researching renewable energy technologies, market trends, and environmental impacts to support policy decisions. I work closely with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and environmental organisations to create and refine policy frameworks that foster sustainable energy solutions, such as solar, wind, green hydrogen and energy storage technologies. I have an MTech in Renewable Energy Engineering & Management and a BTech in Chemical Engineering Specialization in Refining and Petrochemicals. My credentials show my commitment towards the sustainable energy transition to build an environment-friendly world.

My areas of interest are National and International Geopolitical developments, social issues and demographic trends. Additionally, I love to read novels and play chess.
