The energy demand is further expected to soar to be the highest in the world in the coming decades. Thus, India’s net zero pathway encompasses green hydrogen as a critical vector to sustainably support its low-carbon energy needs. Given, a huge potential to become a major hydrogen exporter, whilst securing energy independence, there is an urgent need to secure mechanisms to foster a strong hydrogen market in India.
